Fall is officially here and that means we’ll be wearing boots in no time. To be honest, I’m not mentally there, yet. Last year Vancouver had an extremely long winter and I feel myself dreading the thought of colder weather. Let’s be honest, when it comes, I’ll survive but in the meantime, I’ll enjoy the leaves changing color, the cooler mornings, the sun shining in the late morning and layered looks. Can you tell that I’m trying to remind myself of all of the positive things Fall has to offer?
Being back at work, I find myself exchanging my relaxed, carefree looks for something a bit more polished during the day. I love wearing heels but it’s not practical when I’m on my feet for most of the day. I bought a couple of pairs of block heels for work and I love wearing them. I am able to wear them all day and it doesn’t feel like I’ve been wearing heels for hours. The ones that I have are not extremely high but have an adequate size heel to give me a bit of a lift.
Aldo has some block heels on sale right now. I love their quality, fit and the fact that they offer half sizes, which is perfect for me.
Here’s to Fall, fashion and practicality!
