Who will choose the location?
There are a few locations that I like to use but if you have one in mind, please let me know.
What is the best clothing to wear?
Ideally, it’s best to wear neutral colours such as off-whites, earth tones (oatmeal, grays), light blues (avoid colours like black, navy, bright colours, greens). You’ll want to be as comfortable as possible. As for footwear, you’ll want to avoid heels and running shoes as well as clothing with logos or characters.
How long will it take to receive my images?
You will receive a few sneak peeks within 24 hours. The rest of the gallery will be delivered in 2 weeks.
How will I receive my images?
You will receive a link to access an online gallery which will include the edited images.
How do I pay?
The best way to pay is by e-transfer. I will send you an invoice with the e-transfer information. 50% of the payment is due upon booking, the final payment is due upon receiving your sneak peak images.
How is it best to prepare children for family pictures?
You’ll want to prepare your children by letting them know that they’ll be having pictures taken. It’s best when kids have had something to eat before hand. Bringing a (non-messy) snack or drink is always welcome.
It’s handy to have a cloth with you to clean their hands and faces (this is too lengthy of a process to edit out).
Kids will be kids and it’s my desire to work with them, not force them into poses but rather capture them in the moment in their surroundings.
Can I post my images to Social Media?
Definitely! I love posting my work to social media as well. I do ask that you don’t add filters to edited pictures. (Think about buying an expensive painting for your house and then painting on top of it.) I would love it if you could tag me in any pictures you post online.
