Whenever we have salad, I always make an effort to make my own dressing. I love knowing all the ingredients that are in our food and having fresh dressing ready in the fridge to go to.
This is the best Caesar dressing that I’ve made. It’s creamy and packs a punch of garlic. It’s also vegetarian and gluten-free!
Vegetarian Caesar Salad Dressing

Ingredients
- 1 large garlic clove, peeled (I’ve added up to 3 cloves for extra punch)
- 1/2 cup non-fat plain Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup grated Romano cheese or Parmigiano-Reggiano
- 2 tsp Dijon mustard
- 2 tsp red wine vinegar
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 1/4 tsp kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp fresh black pepper
Directions
- In a blender, combine all ingredients for the dressing, and blend until the garlic is chopped and incorporated with the rest of the ingredients.
- Serve over greens.
Note: You can store it in the fridge for up to one week.
