Raspberry Smoothie

Some days I like to start off my morning with something a bit different than my porridge and on other days, when I’m needing a bit more energy to make it through the day, I opt for this smoothie as it’s full of natural protein (from quinoa and greek yogurt). This smoothie is also great as a snack after working out if you’re wanting to add more protein to your child’s diet without them knowing.

Because there is quinoa in the smoothie, you’ll want to blend it well so that the quinoa is broken down.

Raspberry Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup uncooked quinoa
  • 2 cups raspberries
  • 2 ice cubes

Directions

1. Cook and cool quinoa.
2. Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
