Over the Christmas holidays, our family headed up to Kamloops. David had a work commitment so we thought we would make a bit of a getaway out of it. While there, we stayed at the newly renovated Delta Kamloops.
The Delta is located in the heart of downtown Kamloops. During our stay, it was quite cold so we spent most of our time at the hotel. We had dinner at the Cordo Restaurant and picked up snacks and drinks at the Grab N Go Café which was so convenient. Both are located within the hotel.
We stayed in a family suite – if you have kids, this is definitely the way to go. The suite was the perfect size for our family of 5. There were two, comfortable queen beds on one side of the suite and on the other, a couch with a pull out bed. The room had a mini fridge, a coffee maker and free water. There was also complimentary Wi-Fi which was an added bonus.
If there’s anything our kids look forward to while staying at a hotel, it is the pool and hot tub. Both are located on the rooftop of the hotel and the pool is heated. The kids spent most of their time in the hot tub. David enjoyed using the hotel gym which had quality cardio equipment as well as weights.
We loved our staff at the Hotel Delta Kamloops. If there is anything we will remember the most, it would be the friendliness of the staff. They were so welcoming on our arrival, were willing to answer any questions we had, and made an effort to get to know us and made our stay as comfortable as possible.
