We were recently in Ontario to visit family and one of the places that I wanted to visit was Niagara on the Lake. The last time I had been there was six years but remember it being a beautiful place.
I was right. As we were walking down the street, I was in awe and kept on telling David to look at different things that I thought were stunning. At one point I told him that I would love to have a summer house there. He didn’t know what to say to that!
If you’re ever in Niagara on the Lake, here are a few places that we liked that you may consider checking out.
These three restaurants have amazing patios and a great selection of food. I love that Treadwell is a farm to table-type restaurant. It would great to check out for date night!
I came across Maison Apothecary and got a chance to find out a bit more about the products that they carry which are made locally. Their soaps are handmade in Oakville with the following ingredients: olive oil, coconut oil, shea butter and essential oils.
Our family is ALWAYS up for ice-cream. Our little ones love it a bit too much. If you’re in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Gelato Di Carlotta-Latteria is a must. David and I went there first with Emme and then brought David’s family there as it was that good. Their gelato is handmade and uses fresh, organic milk and cream; pure grape and raw cane sugars; Italian nuts; and fresh fruits. It is delicious!
There are so many cute places to check out here. We definitely weren’t able to see everything we wanted to but I have a feeling we’ll be back for another visit!
