Here’s an easy recipe that your kids are sure to enjoy. It’s so simple that they could be involved in making it.
Frozen Chocolate Banana Pops

Ingredients
- Bananas (1/2 banana makes one banana pop)
- Dark chocolate
- Toppings (I used coconut, crushed walnuts, pistachios and candy)
- Popsicle sticks (I bought mine from Michaels)
Other Toppings:
- Peanut Butter
- Granola
- Chopped walnuts
- Chopped pecans
- Flax
- Sprinkles
- Coconut
Directions
- Freeze bananas (I left them in for about 30 minutes)
1. Cut the bananas in half and insert a popsicle stick into each
2. Place bananas on a lined cookie sheet and put in the freezer (leave in freezer for 1-2 hours)
3. Melt chocolate
4. Dip frozen bananas into chocolate and add the topping(s). Because the bananas are frozen I found that the chocolate melted very quickly so you’ll want to add the toppings right away.
