I’m not sure about anyone else, but it’s not easy dressing up in winter. I have nothing to complain about because we don’t experience -30 degree weather like some other parts of Canada but the dreary, cold days aren’t too much to look forward to either.
When I’m out and about with the kids or running errands, I’ll often opt for something simple to wear that I can literally throw on. It usually involves a pair of jeans, a t-shirt and a cardigan. I love a good cardigan.
I added this blush cardigan to my collection. It is a heavier material which is great for winter and the pop of color is great for those dreary days. Instead of wearing it with a tee, I paired it with a classic, black camisole that can be worn many ways. This one was on sale but I’ve linked similar ones as well.
Finally, I chose my 501s. They are a perfect combination: high-waisted, dark wash, quality jean. They are a thicker jean and hold their shape really well. They were definitely worth the investment. I love wearing them more and more as they age.
