When it comes to pasta sauce, I have never been a fan of alfredo sauce; I much prefer a tomato-based sauce any day. I can’t remember why I tried making an alfredo sauce but this one knocked it out of the ball park.
Recently I was at my sister’s house and wanted to make dinner for her family. She has loved alfredo for as long as I can remember, and as a result, I thought I’d make it for dinner. I wanted her opinion to see if this was actually as good as I thought. She watched as I made it and commented a few times on how good it smelled. When she tasted it, she agreed that it was amazing!
Beyond tasting delicious, this recipe is so simple to make and doesn’t take long (like all of the recipes that I currently enjoy making). It can be made in a sauce pan in a matter of minutes.
I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
